World Athletics supports the T-Meeting with the World Ranking Competition status (category E). This allows athletes to earn points for the World Ranking and, based on their position on this World Ranking, can directly qualify for tournaments.

The Dutch Athletics federation (Atletiekunie) supports the T-Meeting by making this competition part of the Track & Field series.

As a replacement for the previous Dutch national track circuit, a new initiative of the Track & Field Series has been developed with 7 organizers. All high-quality competitions with unique elements and in which athletes are optimally facilitated in achieving limits and personal records. All competitions in the Track & Field Series belong to the World Athletics Ranking Competitions category E or F.
